    1. Foresting for paper

    2. Clearing land for business and human growth

    3. Safety to clear land and build up fire walls

    4. Clearing it for farm land

    5. Clearing for other wood products.

  4. 1. To make room to grow sugar cane, for ethanol, so we can continue to pollute the planet.

    2. To build houses, so that people don't have to live on the street.

    3. To make paper, so that school kids can write term papers.

    4. To make room to grow food crops so that people have food to eat.

    And some people cut down tree so that they can have a better view.

    3. WILD FIRE - loss of forest due to acid rain, human activities, creating grazing land for cattle, etc.

    4. DEVELOPMENTAL ACTIVITIES - clearing forest for putting up projects, human settlements, farming, etc.

    5. CONSUMER NEEDS - felling trees and other plantations in the forest for manufacturing consumer articles such as paper, furnitures, construction materials, etc.
