What are AFL posts made of?

It is made out of metal and is then painted white.

They used to be made of wood then painted white with a red tip on top. Some grass route grounds still have wooden posts. The grounds (M.C.G, Telstra dome, S.C.G, etc) used in the AFL now all have posts made of metal/aluminium with a powdercoat finish (long lasting white paint substance).
