What are AMC theatres like?

I worked at a Marcus theatre for almost two years and I am curious how much simlar/different AMC is?

Like what position do you start in, (concessions, ushing, and cashing) how long till you get trained in the others.

Im also curious on how it works with the projectionists and managers. Like do they promote projectionists from the staff they already have or hire them from outside.

Managers, I am sure they have a General Manager, but do they have a Associate Manager under him/her and then a bundle of Assistant Managers like Marcus? Do they hire the managers as managers or do they promote them from within?

I am interested in applying but im curious how it all works.

amc is very similar to marcus theatre, as are all movie theatres. you start by getting trained as an usher and in concession, but the better you do at them, the more different job oppurtunities you will get, such as box office or projectionist.
