What are Babolat rackets like?

just wondering. i need new racket. which kind do you have if you use babolat??

babolat pure drive w/ cortex lets u swing quick with less force and it prevents the vibration from your wrist. Very good racket. I suggest it to you.

the are ahhmazing, i use a babolat pure storm and cant use any other racket after ive used it, it has almost a perfect balance between power and accuracy, not to mention its extremely lightweight.

I have had the babolat  pure drive for three years. It's a good tweener racket, but not suited for advanced level rec play.

The aeropro drive w/o cortex is better than the new version. Friend has three of them and I've borrowed it to hit with.

The storm series is prbbly the best of the three lines, but is heavier compared to the other two.

I now hit with Wilson rackets(k 6.1 95), and I assure you that they are far easier to hit with. Babolat rackets are powerful, but they are hard to hit with and can cause to shoulder problems. The Pure Drive + version is not good for volleys. Wilson emphasizes control and the rackets are far less stiff. I often wonder why it took so long for me to make the change...

As for the prices. The 6.1 and the Babolats cost about the same. If I haven't made it apparent already, I suggest buying Wilson rackets.

Granted that you still might be conflicted. Demo some of the rackets from tenniswarehouse.

try demoing one to see what it is like yourself. That would be the best way to know what it is like. Go to a local pro shop and you can test it out for a few days and get a good feel of it. I have a babolat pure drive team + and I really like it.

Babolat's main 3 racquets have different attributes but one thing they share is that they are all very stiff.

I personally use the Aeropro drive. It has a great feel, good spin potential and I like the slightly headlight balance.

I've also used the Pure drive. I personally found this racquet to have too much pop for me and my shots tended to go long.

its a very powerful raquet.

The aerostorm is a really low power racquet but it has great touch. Very similar in feel to something like a k6.1 but with more spin. The head size is much smaller and it has some more heft than the APD.

Babolat rackets are usually on the power end.  I have tried a  few babolat rackets and my favorite out of those are that aeropro drive with cortex.  If you want control then go with the strom models.

well my friend on my tennis team has a babalat and i tried it and now i really want to buy it but she wont sell it so if u r looking 4 a new rackets i would go with any babolat

AeroPro with cortex is very good if u have a fast swing

Pure drive is good for power players

Pure Storm is good for players with long swings
