  1. we used to use make and buy charts for each model. that sometimes changes as the company may sell a plane to a country that demands Boeing to buy some of the parts from them.

  2. Businesses don't reveal that sort of information about private transactions.  In some cases of government contracting, the Department of Defense will retain that information and consider it a matter of public record.  Under FOIA, you can request that information from the DoD.

It might take 3-5 years to get the information, and it will be different from one order or transaction to the next.  To be sure of getting to talk to the right person, you might want to go through your congressperson's office.

  3. Ask Obama.

  4. Though the information I've gathered does not clearly define the top ten. The wiki article referencing the 787 under the "Production" section does suggest that 35% of the production was Japan-based.  As a starting-point this document will give list of sub-contractors (i.e.)

    Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (Fusalage Construction)

    General Electric (Engine Construction)

    Pratt & Whitney (Engine Construction)

    Rolls Royce (Engine Construction)

    Hamilton Sundstrand (APU Construction)

    Honeywell I (Avionics Controls)

  5. commercial airliners

    and probably the military
