  1. You can go to either Yahoo Finance http://finance.yahoo.com/ or MSN Money http://moneycentral.msn.com/home.asp and type in the symbol.   There you will find all the information you need about the CGM Focus Fund, including their current holdings.

  2. Unfortunately, a lot of funds don't tell you what they have in their portfolio until a month or so after they have it.  If you look on http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hl?s=CGMFX or http://quicktake.morningstar.com/FundNet... the holdings are as of end of March.  So this doesn't answer your question...

I have been casually eying this fund over the past week or so and have seen it decline a good 10+%.  Looking at the behavior of the price of the Fund, I have speculated that it seems to track commodities (particularly Agriculture)...Keep in mind that both Crude and Agriculture have declined recently.  He has also shorted Financials as of many months ago (as you can see from his previous holdings).  Surprisingly, his portfolio was down 1.33% today (when Financials went down and Agriculture went up today).  As such, it makes me think that he sold off some his Agriculture position (I know many other mutual funds have).  There's an article about Heebner's holdings through Q2's end at http://biz.yahoo.com/indie/080813/1364_i...  .  This article also suggests a portfolio change from the one listed at those sites: "These are all moves that would seem to reinforce Heebner's recent commodity sector bias even as these sectors have pulled back. However, as yesterday's CGM Focus Fund performance deviated from the performance of Heebner's end-of-Q2 holdings, it's quite possible that the fast-moving money manager has already moved on."

I too am very curious what Heebner's current holdings are in this fund.  In full disclosure, I do not own any of Heebner's funds.

EDIT:  I looked at some links at http://www.tickerspy.com/member.php?pid=... and it directed me to http://bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601...  ("Kenneth Heebner, manager of the top- performing U.S. mutual fund, sold agriculture stocks Monsanto Co. and Mosaic Co. as they reached records, while tripling bets against banks Wachovia Corp. and Washington Mutual Inc.")  This makes me think he is no longer LONG on Agriculture but still SHORT on financials (this would help explain why his fund did so poorly recently as he quickly dumped his agriculture and watched his shorted financial stocks' prices go up over the past week or so).  I am unsure of what his position is on metals and crude at current.  "The fund's largest holding as of June 30 was oilfield- services company Weatherford International Ltd. The second- biggest holding was Schlumberger Ltd., the world's biggest oilfield contractor. Both companies are based in Houston."

EDIT2: I just found a website that answers your question a little bit better...although still not quite...http://www.247wallst.com/2008/08/ken-hee...
