I keep seeing canon pairings written everywhere, and I think it means slash pairings, but I don't know. What is the definition of 'canon pairings'?

  1. "Canon pairing is a pairing which is in the original work."

    Basically what the authors or creators expected to happen. Like 2 main characters together.
