What are Chicago Shopping Hours on Saturdays?

I am coming to Chicago to shop on Saturday, what are the downtown store hours?

Most stores are open later between thanksgiving and christmas but otherwise close between 7-8 pm on Michigan ave and State street. Most people like to get home before it gets too late, to avoid any crime or issues. The downtown is much safer than it used to be but it is still not a good idea to be out walking around after 8 pm as a tourist or visitor.

Water Tower is open 10 am -9 pm.  Most stores will have similar hours.
