  1. well you havnt missed much. To the guy that said they will beat SA must stop dreaming.

They could lose to Samoa just like France did to Arg. If they get to the quarters against NZ the world will be behind them. Maybe they can beat the ABs but they wont get further than the semis

  2. They'll cruise through their pool and finish behind South Africa.  They will likely meet Australia in the QF and I really think they can do exactly what Argentina just did to France...  keep the ball in tight, grind it up and keep it close then try to scam a last minute win.

After that, they face a probable semi against NZ and then they say goodbye.  They cant dominate NZ's pack like they could Australia's.

So, definately QF, maybe SF if they get it right.  If they somehow win their pool, they could be in the final depending on what happens in the wide open pool of death!

  3. I think they will actually overpower South Africa and head into the quarters and beyond with confidence.  There is no reason to suggest or think otherwise of a very tough and talented team like England will do anything other than be very good.  On their day they can beat anyone.  They are still current World Champions.

  4. There is absolutely no chance England will win the world cup. I dont understand how anybody can say that England have a chance against South Africa. South Africa will destroy them I'd go for a 40 point plus margin. England will be out in the pools.

  5. Quarter to Semis depending on how we get on in the pool. Dont think we will qualify for the finals.

  6. Quarter finals.

  7. Zilch....

  8. 10% Bring it home again!

40% Semi's or a loss in the final

30% Earlier exit with pride intact

    20% Catastrophic turkey

I'm pretty much basing that off lineup, with the strongest odds that they will do us proud, but not get the cigar due to injury.  I don't think recent hiccups are a good litmus test...

  9. Hey quest....why do you are a coppier?

  10. nil

  11. Slim to F**k all.  They were rubbish against USA.  I can't see them pulling any decent form out of the hat.

  12. zippo!

  13. they will do ver well indeed me thinks and so will alot of other peeps will think they will to

  14. Well after seeing France get beaten by Argentina tonight

(his says with a big smug grin on his face) who knows

    England or Australia,.

    Baz

  15. very poor. We have left it far too long to build up a world class international team. All the good players left the international stage after the last world cup and never helped build the team up.
