  1. the school system is much better than the american school system. They have much more breaks through the year but they only get a six week summer. Most germans i've met prefer the greman way. You can also drink in germany when you are 16, But you get your drivers lisence at 18 witch i think is much better. When you are 16 you can go to clubs. And if you are a girl be careful not to wear hoodies.

  2. I lived  in Weisbaden for 4 years. I loved it. The scenery is beautiful. So many castles to visit, a trip on the Rhine River , so nice. The food, don`t even get me started, I love german food. Where I lived, Holland & france were a short trip. Nice, be adventerous. Go for it. Have fun.

p.s.   be sure to go to The Black Mountains.  :)

  3. Every places has some positives and negatives, but about Germany I think there is more positives to say. I know some people always thinking on n**i Regime and put the whole population in it. This is a mistake.

Germany is nice place, safe, friendly helpful people, working hard, intelligent, many historical places, nice cities, middle in Europe, you can travel round the Europe easily, having nice cars, autobahns, restaurant, cafes, shopping centers. It's just beautiful.

  4. You can expect people to speak their minds. When they think you picked the wrong dress, they will tell you in no uncertain terms instead of complimenting you on it. To people who are not raised that way this comes of as being rude, but you quickly get used to it. There are some cool guidebooks out there like CultureShock!Germany, The Xenophobe's Guide to the Germans, When in Germany Do as the Germans Do, Wicked German. Get one of those. They might not teach you everything, but they are a start.
