Question:

What are MY chances of an STD or pregnancy ?

I had s*x for the first time and the condom broke, came off, and we continued to have s*x for the remaining time. It was the day after I completed my period, and I also took the morning after pill about 40 hours later. I have not gotten my period yet (which is very irregular anyway) except I did bleed after taking plan B for about 2 days. Was that my period, or just a reaction to the pill, and if so- what are my chances of pregnancy? It was over a month ago, would signs of pregnancy show already?

  1. If your not comfortable with your doctor call a pharmacist they will tell u what to expect and recommend a pregnancy test that works in 30 days. As far as STD goes u slept with every one he did (get his history) but most std's are followed by flu like symptoms within a week or two lasting about 4 day's. Aid's u can test negative results for years with no symptoms. It's more rare for a woman to get aid's because it requires that you bleed for it to enter you system.

As a man who tried to have kid's i can tell u that your best chance of getting pregnant is before your period starts (2-5 day's)

  2. Go for the Pregnency Test and get your ultrasound.

  3. Since you bled after taking morning after pill, there would be no chance for a pregnancy to remain viable.  If you're worried you can always take a pregnancy test.

As far as STD's, I would get tested, and have a pap smear since you're sexually active.

And if the condom breaks..put on a new one next time!

  4. I wouldn't freak out about being pregnant. The morning after pill is very effective. Bleeding for the two days was most likely a side effect. You would notice signs of pregnancy by now. Like being overly tired. I honestly wouldn't sweat it. Your best chances of getting pregnant is when you are ovulating.

  5. very low for pregnancy. it must be within a few days of the 14th day of the cycle for pregnancy to occur. you should however get checked for STD's If it was both of your first time and first partners for any sexual activity including oral s*x then you should be OK

  6. you should speak with your doctor about stuff like this. your doctor will be much more helpful. u should not have contiued with having s*x after the condom broke. BE MORE CAREFUL. THINK BEFORE YOU DO. std's and pregnany can change your life forever.
