  1. They should get along fine as long as their isn't food in the field to fight over. It sounds like she will stand up for herself too so she won't get bullied by them. Miniature horses can be good companions for big horses so they should be friends, just introduce them first and make sure they get along before you turn them out together.

Miniature horses are good for showing - prettiest face, best family pony, best comdition etc. You could also get someone small to ride her in shows. You could also use her as a companion in the box for your big horses, if you only want to take one to a show, or something. Otherwise they are just good have as pets. Also I preffer mares because they develop a very strong bond with their owners, and miniature horses have a huge personality, so I'm very jealous that you're getting one.

  2. Horses and Miniature Horses get along in general, but you'll have to make sure that they don't hate each other for some other reason. As for what Miniature Horses are good for:

    1. Some horse lovers who don't have space for a big horse get miniature horses as pets.

    2. They are strong enough to pull a person around in a light cart.

    3. There are Miniature horse shows, which include a jumping course and halter classes.

    4. Some people only have enough money, time, or room for one horse, but they want a companion for it. A miniature horse makes a good low-maintenance friend for a horse, just like donkeys, goats, mules, and hinnies.

  3. Miniature horses are great to play with because they are so darn cute!!

They are kind of like dogs in the sense that you and the horse are companions. The miniature horse at my stable is adorable but doesnt seem to show any affection, unless, of course, you have food.

Your big horses shouldnt hurt her. This same miniature horse is always out in pasture with her big buddy and my horse seemed to want to befreind the little thing, though the miniature horse squeeled and trotted off.

As far as what you can do with her, they have miniature horse shows and stuff, if you're into that. They'll sometimes have them pull carraiges and do jumps and such. Mostly, you can play with her!!

  4. Horses will be horses, regardless of size. She was probably estblishingher superiority over the other horse.

What are minis good for? Companionship, love, showing,  pulling carts.

I keep a mini gelding and a mini mare with my Hackney and several other large horses, including a stallion. They all get along. I've had a pony kick my big stallion's butt so size doesn't mean they will be low man  on  the totem pole. Just keep an eye on her and as for what to do with her - love her!
