What are New Jersey's laws for my kid's electric bike?

Hi. It's actually my son's electric bike but anyways.....He's 13 years old. He won't use it on the road or anything. It's the Mongoose cx24v200. It's only 24v of power with 200 watts of electric. It's top speed is 10-12 mph. There are pedals along with the electric motor. Thanks for all help.

  1. New Jersey has banned electric scooters, but i am not sure whether this applies to electric bicycles, perhaps the new law before the senate now will separate the two.
