'Family values' is a nonsense term, a code for bigotry and small-mindedness. Everyone has a family, but 'family values' seems to only mean God, abortion and homosexuality.

Check out his acceptance speech where he said that families needed to take responsibility for their kids.

A few months ago, he took a lot of heat for taking that stance in a black church.  That was when Jesse Jackson made his idiotic remark.

Funny, though, that this guy is the one who's trumpeting REAL family values and individual responsibility.  That used to be what Republicans were all about.

It is used by the Political and Religious Organizations to trick Small Minded people in to believing that there is yet another "Us" Vs. "Them" topic to "Fight".

As for Obama... He went to a church that was led by a bigoted, hate filled, anti-American, scum bag... That says a LOT about a person... If he disagreed with the church-line, he should have found another church... It isn't as if there isn't a church on every other corner in Chicago... We have more churches in our city then in any other city I have been to. h**l, if you go to the ghetto neighborhoods, there is a "Store Front" church every half block if he couldn't find a "main stream" church to go to.

From my bedroom window right now, I can see the towers of THREE major churches!! (And I don't live all that far from where Obama has his house. A few miles but still... I know the area...)

I'm happy that he has a stable marriage... I'm happy that his kids love him... But remember... Having a wife that puts on a 'happy face' in public and kids that love you doesn't mean anything when you consider that you can say the same for families where the parents are addicted to meth and the husband beats them...

"Happy" is in the eye of the beholder...

And when you have a person that we groomed for the spotlight... For all we know, they may hate each other in private! You NEVER KNOW what happens behind closed doors... The most "Average" looking people in your neighborhood may be the biggest freaks in private!

In fact, to me, they all seem "Too Groomed" to be real...

It is just so scripted... EVERYTHING THEY DO... from the hug at the podium to the hand gestures during the wife's speech at the DNC... I feel manipulated whenever I see them do their 'blocked out' and scripted hugs and kisses and hand holding...

The "Image" his PR Team puts out has nothing to do with his ability to be president.

His RECORD of being an absentee-senator DOES...

As I said, I live in Chicago... The Sun-Times and Tribune have had MANY MANY articles about how:

1. He doesn't do his goddamned job here in Illinois... At all...

2. He says he will stop corruption and pandering yet Ryan is in federal prison, Rezco is in prison, Bloygo is going to be called before a grand jury any day now, Mayor Daley is one of the most corrupt political leaders in the history of MAN KIND...

3. The ONLY reason Obama got to where he is is because he started talking about running AGAINST MAYOR DALEY and Daley won't give up the throne that easily... So instead of allowing him to run for Mayor, he manipulated him and groomed him and placed him in the Senatorial Position.

OBAMA IS NOTHING BUT YET ANOTHER PRODUCT OF THE DALEY MACHINE!

If Obama wins the presidency, how do you expect him to change his habits so easily and suddenly give a d**n about his job? Obama doesn’t even SHOW UP for his elected position half the time! He NEVER ONCE went to a meeting of the committee he was the CHAIR OF!

ANYONE from Illinois that votes for Obama should be checked by medical professionals for Clinical Mental Impartment because if you LIVE HERE and constantly read about how he can't do his d**n job in an EASY to run state like Illinois... Then you MUST be mentally challenged...

Obama's "values" were formed while sitting in the pews of that hate filled church listening to that hate filled revahrund.  He even was kind enough to bring his whole family there to listen.  That's his family values.

Listen to his nomination acceptance speech, he spells it out very clearly, much better than anyone could paraphrase it.

Or look at him, a loving wife and 2 beautiful little girls who obviously adore their daddy. His father left his mother when he was only 3 years old. He knows the importance of a loving father in a family and stressed that point in his speech.
