  1. they're subject tests

colleges like if you take them in science and math

its not mandatory but you should take at least two in subjects your good at

  2. The SAT Subject Tests (formerly SAT II) are a collection of one hour-long tests in a particular subject.  There's two math tests, several foreign language tests, history tests, science tests, and an English literature test.  You should check with the colleges that you're planning on applying to to decide whether or not you need to take any.  Some schools don't require any, but other schools ask that you take one, two, or three subject tests.  They are typically used for admissions purposes (just like all of the other tests that you named), but some schools also use them for placement to determine what level class you should take as a freshman.  Some schools also specify which types of subject test scores you need.  You can take up to three subject tests in one sitting.

  3. SAT 2 tests on different subjects in languages, science, math, and history. you can take up to three tests on one test date.

it really depends on the college you want to apply for. some colleges require you to take some SAT 2 subject tests, some don't. you need to check with whatever colleges you want to apply to. also, some colleges give you credits for SAT 2, and you should check with the colleges on that as well.
