What are Sarah Palin's religious affiliations and beliefs?

I hear she is an evangelical and that she believes it was the Lord's will and mission to go to Iraq, but any sources or details?

I  just wish that these so called Christians would not quote God in matters as war.

If we are to believe that God is kind and just he will never let war happen.

War is not his creation. It  is the irresponsible behavior of us.

I don't begrudge people for having faith. The problem arises when the faith than becomes the main justification for foreign policy or domestic issues.

The evengelical movement is growing more extreme, more loud, and even more close to the white house again. It is frightening.

Born again Christian. Sarah does believe in Iraq being the Lord's will as this was reported in the New York Times of 9/3/08

I believe this to be a radical and dangerous form of Christianity as anytime we invoke God to kill folks the plan always goes into the toilet.

Friends, we need less dogma and more open minded diplomacy as we deal with dirtbags but do so because that is the way of the world. Bush 1 was a brilliant strategist and will be known as a great man in how he handled the Iraq 1 War. His genius sad to say is all on display because his son is such a failure.

Remember this: Bush 2 will forever be known as the worst President ever and his Dad will grow and grow in respect as time goes on.

She is a devout pentacostal.  She is a firm believer in that we were destined to be in Iraq to act out the will of God.  She said:  

"Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending out on a task that is from God,"
