African? Caucasian? A mix of both?

Definitely not Mongolian, I think.

Do they have any Mongolian/Far Eastern traces as well?

In that case, are they Polynesian?

  1. Although this term does include both Jews and Arabs, it refers to Caucasoid peoples that came from the East (Afghanistan & Northern India), who were considered to be the first domesticators of livestock, on which they traveled & which they milked (source of water), while braving desert conditions as nomads...

It also usually includes much of the original Blood Type "B" group!

  2. The Semetic people(s) are people who share a common language branch of the Indo-European language (the branch is called Semetic).  People of the Semetic language group include Jews, Arabs, babylonians, Assyrians; and basically everyone else who was living in Mesopotamia and the Levant in antiquity.

Their skin color was likely a darker shade of olive, much like those who live there now.

What you have to remember is at some level, homo sapiens all came out of Africa; the Celtic peoples spread out the furthest- from China to Ireland; and those who came after likely pushed them that far & wide.

There might be some root with the Far East; but I doubt that, since the Indo-European Language originated from Persian/Iran-India and moved outwards from there, and there were other peoples in direct contact with the Far Eastern peoples.

  3. Think of the twelve tribes of Israel.  The answer to all of your speculations is yes, to one extent or other.  Semites include ALL Jews.

  4. SEMITES ARE:

a member of any of several Semitic-speaking peoples of the Middle East, including the Arab and Jewish peoples, and the ancient Assyrians, Babylonians, Carthaginians, Ethiopians, and Phoenicians

  5. The term Semite means a member of any of various ancient and modern peoples originating in southwestern Asia, including the Akkadians, Canaanites, Phoenicians, Hebrews, and Arabs. It was proposed at first to refer to the languages related to Hebrew by Ludwig Schlözer, in Eichhorn's "Repertorium", vol. VIII (Leipzig, 1781), p. 161. Through Eichhorn the name then came into general usage (cf. his "Einleitung in das Alte Testament" (Leipzig, 1787), I, p. 45. In his "Gesch. der neuen Sprachenkunde", pt. I (Göttingen, 1807) it had already become a fixed technical term

  6. Semites is a made-up term mostly referring to anyone from what we call the 'Middle East'.

This includes Jewish people and, much to he chagrin of Arabs, Arabian people to include all the uninformed radical fundamentalists who embrace Islam.

They are truly pathetic and our tolerance of their acts of wanton destruction is equally pathetic.

    But, maybe thats just me!
