I have never been but the idea of snowboarding (or skiiing but snowboarding more so) has really appealed to me. It looks fun

Pricey I know but would you say it's a good holiday experience? Would you recommend it for first timers? any other info?

Thanks

  1. its great!

    ITALY IS THE BEST :)

well. its the only one i've been to, but its' an experiance i'll never forget ;)

  2. As I live in Austria, I "had" to make a skiing holiday when I was in the 6th grade. Well, I can say that it is an experience for people who haven't ever done skiing or snowboarding, and I can really recommend Jerzens in Tirol (Austria).

But honestly it's not a relaxing holiday, it's really stressfull. You can also go on a combination of a wellness trip and a skiing trip.

Well, if I was you I would try out.

  3. I would recommend it. I've tried both skiing and snowboarding and its quiet easy and fun.

There are several destinations to go to in Europe such as France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy and Romania.

Four of which I've been to myself. I recommend joining a ski group which is allot cheaper than private lessons.

There is also outside EU places such as Canada and Russia but may be a little pricey.

The good thing about skiing is also all the Apr-ski things to do. From relaxing in a log cabin too speeding down a small mountain rolorcoster to bowling and catching meal at a restaurant.

The best time is at new Years. Its spectacular!
