  1. they suck your blood

  2. In folklore a vampire was a spirit possessed corpse.

The corpse would rise and attack villagers or simply spread illness and disease, so it was believed. This activity was not always relegated to the night.

Other than that, they did nothing else.

  3. i think it is a kittty lol no im joking its a monster tht sucks ur blood and then u turn to 1 and u suck plps blood then so on and hate the sun u can kill them with silver and the sun :)

  4. There weren't any vampires until Western Civilization got it's hands on the story of Vlad Drakul.

A good article on the topic.

  5. Go read Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. Amazing book, and you might get a few ideas about vampires from there.

  6. Vampires suck HUMAN BLOOD and are nocturnal creatures that either dislike or avoid the sunlight.

Psychic 'energy' vampires are BS. The main point about vampires is that they feed of human blood.

    Main points about vampires:

-They suck human blood, that's the entire point.

    -They don't sparkle. Hehe.

  7. undead bloodsuckers, disgusting creatures whose entire existence depends upon drinking the bodily fluids of mortals.

  8. Well, all mythical ideas came to by some sort of fact. Now I enjoy taking fiction as just that but I have been told that Vampires are a jump from sexual predators.

A Vampire generally is considered mysterious, fast, and quiet. Lurking in the corners. Sucking blood, as well as the idea was derived from the vampire bat, however it is that a vampier makes their victim feel venerable.

I would consider the idea that they may even work at night, while they are considered immortal, they are not going to steal everything. I would consider them to be  a person who travels a lot, and takes odd jobs maybe like in a harbor.

  9. There are Psychic Vampires and ones that feed off of other's energy. There's no such thing as the blood sucking Vampires though.

Twilight may not be all true. I have pale, cold skin and I sleep through the day. I like the taste of blood but that doesn't make me a vampire. I don't know what I am. Trying to figure this out myself.

  10. umm..they don't HAVE to sleep durring the day in all stories.Im thescources are some things that might interest you if you wanna find more info:

  11. One interesting argument concerning the evolution of the vampire myth is that it likely sprang up out of fears of plagues and other illnesses. In ancient times no one knew what caused plagues and could only go by what their imaginations told them.

Also, vampire legends have been around for millennia, dating back to ancient China.

  12. Legends of vampires and similar bloodsuckibg creatures come from all parts of thw world. According to these legends, vampires were living corpes who returned from the dead to hautr people.

It was believed that vampires left their graves ast sunset in search of victims and drank their blood. The victims were often people the vampire knew in his/her lifetime. Human blood was supposed to be the food that vampires needed to stay alive.

In the past, thousands of corpes have been dug up by peopel searching for signs of these evil creatures.Vampires were often thought to be violent criminals or people who had died suddenly.A nyone who commited sucide, or who was the victim of a vampire's attack, was also thought to become a vampire.

Often such a person had not had a proper burial and it was believed that the spirit, unable to go to heaven or h**l, remained active in the corpes. this is why vampires were know as the 'the undead'.

The most terrifying stories of vampires coem from Eastern Europe where Polish vampires, for instance, were said to float in blood-filled coffins. Their Russian relatives were supposed ti take the blood from a victim's heart. Most vampires, however, preferred to attack at the next, puncturing the skin with razor-sharp fangs until the blood flowed.

The blood perserved the vampire's body so it did not rot in the grave like an ordinary corpse. If a vampire's coffin was dug up the body looked as if it was asleep, rather than dead.

Vampires worked at night, under cover of darkeness, often creeping into a bedroom while an innocent victim lay sleeping. if the victim was not completely drained of blood in an attack, the vampire would return the following eveing.

  13. I am a paranormal investigator/hunter in training, and I would be more than glad to tell you what a vampire is. Now first, what a vampire is NOT. They are not people who have pale skin, gorgeous features and humans that drink blood. A real vampire...well, first, please, I am stating the truth so nobody give me a bad rating..please, anyways. A real vampire is a demon, cursed to drink blood when they were thrown out of the garden of Eden. Not all demons are vampires. Lilith was the first, according to many mythological tales and firsthand hunting experiences. A vampire is an ordinary demon while in demon/spirit form. It cannot drink blood while in that form. But once it possesses a dead body, it will be able to drink blood and much more. No blood drinking demon can ever possess a live human. They have the power of illusion, and can look like your mother or your children within a split second...Now theres a whole branch of study towards them, all funded by the governments of each country. The governments hire paranormal investigators and hunters to keep track of these creatures. But now, with current physical conditions such as global warming and the Anti-Christ coming....It's getting harder. Anyways, thats all from the top of my brain Its the basics. Please email me at radafat@aol.com, and I will be happy to tell you s much as I can, including information on werewolves, demons, wendigos, skinwalkers, witches, the paranormal activity within the government and everything else...radafat@aol.com . Thank you for your time, and please, even if you do not believe me, at least keep the information in check..Also, look up "Blood Drinking Demons in Persian Mythology"...they were in many different cultures, but I prefer Persian.....

  14. Well I can tell you that in a sense they are real. It is a culture branched from the Gothic culture people that stray from the sun, can have fangs put in by piercers or dentist. They are not immortal, they have reflections, and such they drink blood only from willing donors. There are clubs for vampires where they can freely feed off of other vampires, it is quite a beautiful culture...

For the myth version they often drink blood to survive and to stay strong as well they hunt the night streets looking for a living lost soul one that attracts them, a person that they want to make a vampire as well so they shall be lovers for eternity.

  15. We do exist. Vampires are not like those in the movies or books, we don't drain unwilling victims of their blood. We have kind people who are called donors and they give us the blood or energy we need. Vampires are people who have energy deficiency and need to get that energy by taking it from other people. We don't die in the sun, can't fly, no super powers, can cross running water, garlic, holy water and the cross don't phase us (because we are not demons we are just different to normal people), we can see better at night than in the day, heightened senses, we do age and we aren't immortal.
