  1. I'm experimenting with the cleanest fuel source known to mankind.   Hydrogen made from sunshine and other non-fossil fuel sources.   Also, changed to compact fluorescent light bulbs, recycle, reuse, combine trips, and talking to everyone I encounter about the problem.

  2. for a start the world is not dying.it is going thru another of its thousand of cycles.that is not to say that we all need to take more care, but my bit to the planet is recycle and replace all bulbs in the house to fluro but no doubt someone will find something wrong with those to.chin up all is not dead yet

  3. A more interesting question might be what is Al Gore doing to stop climate change:

I, personally am doing nothing new. I have always recycled and been careful with what I use. I don't really buy into the hype around global warming.

  4. Here are some more inconvenient truths.

The ice core samples shoes that co2 is caused by temperature and not the other way round.  Temperatures go up/down, 600-800 years later co2 levels follow.

Temperatures since 1998 have been falling.

According to the theory, if the current rises in temperatures are due to greenhouse gases, air temperatures should rise at a faster rate than ground temperatures, but that is not occurring.

Increases in temperatures should increase rates of evaporation, which should increase the amounts of precipitation resulting in less droughts, not more.

The "hockey stick graph" that shows temperatures at a constant that a sharp rise during the 20th century is flawed.

It ignores the medieval warm period, despite all established geological records of the time.  For proof, here is a web site that shows the excavations in Greenland. http://www.archaeology.org/online/featur...  For such a settlement to have taken place, temperatures would have had to have been a lot higher than what it is today.  Note the quote "Trading with Norway...the Greenlanders...the Greenlanders exchanged live falcons, polar bear skins, narwahl tusks, and walrus ivory and hides for timber, iron, tools, and other essentials, as well luxuries such as RAISINS, NUTS, AND WINE."  Grapes need warm weather to grow.

Statistically, hurricanes occur when the weather is colder not warmer.  They are a global phenomena, not a Caribbean one, and there has not been any record set.

During periods of warmth, human civilizations have thrived, not faltered.  It is a historical fact.

For those who like to worry themselves, be my guests.  I do not.

  5. I developed and promote TAGP(tm) a comprehensive plan that addresses all aspects of global warming.

  6. nothing! what are people ever ganna do about the problems in tha world! our world is dying and babys are too! is it global warming or is it ganna be an ice age no one knows for sure! just a bunch of excuses!

  7. I RECYCLE, at home and at work, and have for many years. I also use a minimum of energy, ie. lights, appliances, etc. If and when I can afford to, I plan to purchase a hybrid vehicle. Last, but not least, I consume as little as possible; there is a lot to be said for good stewardship, frugality and plain old common sense. Possibly the most important thing I do is to educate young people (and not so young people!) about the need for all of us to do our part to use our resources as cleanly and wisely as possible. As for those who scoff at the information that is being given them by Al Gore and others...we are all in this together and must think always of our planet's welfare for the sake of the future of every living thing that resides upon her.

  8. Who Cares Who Killed the Electric Car because Here's a Solution to Pollution

Although this electric car is somewhat inconvenient, its batteries are nearly cost-free, whereas other electric cars cost 2x-10x more than gasoline. And this electric vehicles' batteries are lead-acid ones that have been discarded. Since its batteries were already 'dead', "they" won't be able to Kill this electric car! Get it?

The full story was on the front page of Burnaby Now. Further media coverage included the Vancouver Sun, Burnaby & New Westminster News Leader newspaper and Global TV evening news.

We have three battery breakthroughs in this etruck, and are currently working on two more possible breakthroughs. Details, in the EV Album, link below..

Is this the solution to global warming, climate change?

    Rob Matthies

  9. Burning premium gas in my BMW.  Which is causing ice caps on Mars to melt.  I'm more concerned about global cooling so I'm encouraging people to burn fossil fuels.

  10. been on the side of Nature for 30 years now

here is what you can do

global warming i dont think can be stopped but we can stop helping it becoming faster, this requires global co operation between all countries ,and taking into account human nature and the world politics ,it is unlikely that this will happen,

At least not untill we are all in the middle of planetary disastres and it becomes a battle for the survival of humanity every where.

    POSITIVE ACTIONS

if you want to help the planet ,plant a tree every week ,if everyone on the planet did we we would be able to slowdown the destructive processes

reduce carbon emisions, and they are already working on that by alternative forms of energy and regulations on carbon producing materials, aerosol cans, burning rubbish, industrial chimneys, powerplants etc.

the capture of carbon and the production of water and assist the aquiferous manta.

the world bank pays large subsidies for reforrestation to capture carbon and the best tree for this is the Pawlonia

Waterharvesting projects ,such as millions of small dams.to redirect over ground waterflows from the rains into the ground to supply subteranian water supplies.

    the protection of existing forrests.

stop building more highways, urban planning to include vegetation stop building cities encourage people to return to the land to conduct their business from there which now has become possible thanks to the internet.

education to motivate people to auto sufficiency by building more home food gardens.

    education on environmental awareness

education on family planning to curb over´populaion

Agricultural education and improvements to follow the principals or sustainability and soil management.

more environmental or land ,design to prevent bush fires, such as--fire breaks

,more dams.regulations and control for public behaviour

alternative effeciant public transport to discourage the use of the internal conbustion engine

    recicling wastes,limit water use

here are a 100 more ways

  11. Short of destroying the sun, there is NOTHING we can do to stop it.

The world will be just fine, it's gone through far more extreme climate shifts in the past.
