the more and more of handcuffing law enforcement not allowing them to do their job they way they know how. if the restrictions keep getting tighter all they will do is respond to accidents and call for service instead of getting illegals, drunks, and drugs off the street.

The USA PATRIOT ACT (which is actually an acronym Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act of 2001) is huge.

It destroys the first amendment. Libraries over the country are fighting it. The government can have access to records which curtails on not only our privacy (which can be seen in the 9th amendment), but also free speech.

It allows wire tapping which violates the 4th amendment, not even to mention the Supreme Court ruling Katz Vs. The United States

Furthermore, you could look at the problem at Guantanamo Bay. That violates the 8th amendment, 4th amendment, and the Geneva Convention.

The biggest Constitutional issue is the fact that less than one in five in the American electorate has ever read the document or read any of the laws passed by the Congress that they feel are repugnant to the Constitution and, therefore, null and void.
