What are a few good books on ghosts?

I was wondering if anyone knew of some books on Ghosts, with information and theories on the paranormal, not just a book with stories about them. Thanks for your help! :)

I found some wonderful answers in books like Talking To Heaven by James Van Praag, and books like Many Lives, Many Masters by Dr. Brian Weiss... There are many good books out there.... enjoy!

Try the library!

Go to the 'Paranormal' section (or look up "ghosts" or the like in the catalog & it'll get you to the right area).

I've found a couple of 'scientific' paranormal books but unfortunately I can't recall the titles.

Not only will you find those but many other really interesting reads there!!

Here's one I had saved on my Amazon list but haven't read it yet. Heard it was good, tho:

'The Hundredth Monkey: And Other Paradigms of the Paranormal' (if you do a search be sure to look up this whole title, author is Kendrick Frazier. There's another just called 'The Hundredth Monkey' by Keyes...not the same subject)

I don't really know any books, but I do know Sylvia Brown writes a lot of books on things like that and I love her books. She writes about her psychic abilities and experiences, and she talks about her spirit guide and what she has told her. Everything so for that she talks about makes sense to me and I really have had a lot of spiritual connections with her books. Sylvia Brown help me find my spirit guide hope she can help other too.

No..but I think if you hang around this section long enough you'll find more than you would in a book. Go to Discover Resolved Questions on here. If you can read all the Q&As..you'll feel like you read a book!

you should go to the library and look for the factual or phenonemon books as they give you a whole range of theorys and some disturbing facts

Because there is no empirical evidence in support of ghosts, there is nothing to observe or measure. So the only thing you will find out there that approaches the subject with science in mind will be speculation resting on supposition. Because the only evidence (if it can even be called evidence) for ghosts is anecdotal. That is why most books out there are narratives.

P.S. Sylvia Browne is a parasitic criminal and a fraud.
