2. Carpool with others.

3. Don't dump trash into our rivers.

4. Conserve water and energy.

5. Plant trees.

The one thing everyone can do is just live.   Just live without making the arrogant assumption that we, unlike other parts of nature, are somehow different/above nature.

There are few things more natural than a concrete building covered in scratch-proof teflon coating.

Recognize that human beings are products of nature like bacteria and kangaroos.  Accordingly, just like a beaver dam, the products and byproducts of our existence are perfectly "natural".  

The planet/environment/nature doesn't want or need our "love".  Regardless of our actions, it may change, but it will live on.  No, we are no different than viruses and dinosaurs to the planet.   If we get out of line, the planet will give us a good smack down.

Perhaps if we stopped spreading make-yourself-feel-good, self-righteous bullshit in the name of nature and environment, and just spoke honestly - in the name of self-preservation - there'd be some traction to get some "environmentally friendly" (which really means human-friendly) things done.
