  1. a good sparte tire not the little one that says do not use more than 50 miles.. a hydrallic roll jack  a good lug wrench the one like a cross two foot across.. a pad to kneel on and put on the car.. if working under the hood a cell phone one from trac phone just for emergency.. tow insurance 50 a year.. basic tool set a flashlight.. a jug of water .. two quarts of motor oil and a battery for emergency start.. some auto transmission fluid 2 quarts.. ok gilermo

  2. You never know what you might need in case of an emergency. Make sure you keep the following items in your vehicle.

    Fully charged cell phone

Pen or pencil and a pad of paper

    Vehicle operating manual

    Emergency service information

    Signal flares

    Instant plug for flat tires

    Flashlight with extra batteries

    Bottled drinking water

    Preserved snacks

    Blanket

    Paper towels

    Jumper cables

    Warning triangles or reflectors

    Engine coolant

    Windshield wiper fluid

    Tire pressure gauge

    Ice scraper

Vehicle jack with flat board for soft surfaces

Tool kit including duct tape and heavy gloves

    Umbrella

  3. You can get a full handy kit at walmart comes with a flash lite jumper cables and a few other things

In my car i always keep jumper cables, 2 Flares just incase, a fire extinguisher and a extra thing of oil and anti Freeze

that should about cover everything other than a spare tire and jack for your car

but it should already have that

  4. In this time of constant litigation, carry a small disposable camera in case of accidents.

  5. jumper cables, a flash light keep a punch to break the window in your car_ (they sell one that will also cut the seatbelt if it jams almost anywhere)  an empty 1 gallon gas can, a small fix kit >with s***w drivers, plyers, electrical tape,< a pair of nylons (if a belt breaks a guy can probably help you use this to get you to a safe place) an empty water jug- spare fuses, there are roadside kits at a lot of stores that will have everything but the correct fuses, gas can, punch and nylons

  6. a camera in case of an accident, like you said, a first aid kit, a blanket, spare tire/jack, some extra coolant just in case of over heating, an umbrella, i have a travel shovel, but i live where we get a lot of snow.  jumper cables.  pen and paper.  some stores sell car emergency kits that have jumper cables, flares, and things like that.  that would be a good investment.

  7. a flashlight, blanket, a couple of bottles of water (they might not always be cold but at least you'll have something to drink just in case!)

  8. My dad told me to keep a pocket knife in the armrest... because it would suck to survive a terrible crash then be trapped in the car because you couldn't get the seatbelt off...

Plus all the other stuff everyone else is mentioning.

  9. Instead of answering your question, I'll simply list the items I haul around with me for "just in case" moments, And mind you, I own a full size car. (yes CAR)

    small rescue bar (railroad style)

    1 binder + strap (Haul-all brand)

    flashlight

    paper towels

    hand cleaner

more hand tools than I know what to do with

cordless Dewalt drill & 12v charger

car opening tools + instruction books + air wedge

Cannon digital camera (6mp, 12x zoom)

    GPS unit

    digital tire gauge

    tire plug patches

paper maps of a dozen counties near me

    spare fuses and bulbs

    1 qt extra oil

These items work for me, your choices may differ..........

Good luck & stay safe out there!
