  1. For us, the wedding ceremony and reception went totally fine! However, what still bothers me is that morning my glasses broke, and there was nowhere to fix them, and I had no backup! So that changed a lot for me about the day...

  2. my husband and i talked about what we would change..

i probably would have picked a different gown. mine was really pretty and i liked it at the time but i think i would have gown with something more classic and simple (and big).

also, while i really really really liked our photographer, i would have been more specific and creative about what kinds of photos we wanted.

and we both would have prefered an evening wedding so people would have danced more haha

currently i daydream about "re-planning" our wedding and picking different details. cheesy, i know!

  3. Ok let's see-I was still breastfeeding my then 6 month old baby so not only did he scream through the whole ceremony (he was hungry) and reception but I couldn't have a drink and he ended up in our bed on the night of the wedding (no s*x for me!). Half the people who confirmed they were coming never turned up. We made the mistake of relying on mates to do the photography as we were trying to save a bit of money-meaning we didn't get half the photos we wanted (you know, bride and bridesmaids, bride, groom and entire family, groom and best man, etc). Rather than my maid of honour doing the running around (like I had done for her wedding a year previous, even making her wedding cake) I did it so I think I only spent around half an hour with my husband on the wedding day!!!

  4. I didn't know the place we picked for the wedding was right next to an airport and we heard jet engines the whole time and no one could hear our vows.

  5. 1. I was late getting to the church. I was on time for the ceremony, but I was late for the pictures. NOT MY FAULT! I tried to check in for our flight on line and the system was messed up so it took me forever. Then I took our bags to check in at the hotel and they had either lost our reservation or had it under the wrong name. Dealing with those made me late to the church.

    2. Our video people screwed up and we have a crappy video of the ceremony.

  6. i got locked out of my hall where my dress was.

i wish i would not have invited children.

my maid of honor was too worried about putting make up on herself than helping me get in the limo.

i showed my florist a picture of the flowers i wanted and my brides maids got those and i got some really ugly ones. she also put flowers on my cake and i did not want that there and she tied these ribbons around my glasses that were too long and ugly.

  7. The first was my bridesmaids were late.  We were all supposed to be at the church at 2:00 for pics and my Maid of honor (my sis) didn't show up untill 2:45!  So my hubby didn't get any pics with the bridesmaids like I got with the groomsmen!   The second (I know i'm going to sound greedy and tacky blah, blah, blah)  We had about 100 peolpe at our wedding and served food and everything and we only recieved 2 presents!!!!  That was it no money or anything ~ It really hurt my feelings because so many people had asked me where we were registered at so I was looking forward to opening presents, guess that was the kid in me!  BTW ~ I only registered for cheap things, the most expensive thing I registered for was probably like $35.00! So yeah ~ I was sad!

The third thing was we gave our DJ a list of songs we wanted (including our first dance) and he freakin didn't down load any of them bc he just 'assumed' there would be internet connection there and there wasn't!  So we had someone trying to run to walmart to but two diff. CD's that had our first dance and the father/daughter dance on it!  I was so pissed!  So we just had to go off his playlist that was on his computer for the rest of the night!  It wasn't even our type of music!  Then he put on the "I Kissed a girl song"  and went outside to 'smoke' and the song got stuck on repeat and no one could find him, so needless to say every time I hear that song I think of my wedding ~ LOL!

  8. I honestly can't think of a thing that annoyed me...it was one of my favorite days ever.

  9. The things that made still irks me is having some one in my wedding party I never wanted there in the first place. She was nothing but trouble (which she always is) and horrible to me the day of (she actually told me my wedding will never be as beautiful as hers was).

My MIL and SIL (the pain) Both complained all day and refused to take pictures.

His second cousin showed up with her 4 kids (which she had already been told that there would be no children there). Had fit we didnt have room or place cards and our coordinator almost had to call the police.

Please poeple it is the bride and grooms day be nice or stay at home they dont need to deal with rude, bad mannered, no class people on there special day.

  10. I honestly can't think of a single thing that I would change or of anything that was just a little annoying - it went perfect....  oh wait, I know, it was SO hot that day - it was one of the hottest days that summer (upper 90's, lower 100's) and the church wasn't air conditioned (although it was cooler in there - like, maybe 80's).  But the rest of the day was inside with air conditioning and the reception also had a beach outside so some of the younger children went for a swim while we did our pics.  I wish I could do it all again!

  11. 1.  130 guests RSVP and only about 70 people showed up.  We wasted money on food for 150.

    2.  My mother in law friends showed in jeans to a semi formal wedding, got drunk, and turned my wedding into a biker party.

    3.  We had to leave our hotel in the middle of the night and start heading towards the honeymoon because of bed bugs.
