Hi, I've been golfing for a little bit, and I was wondering what are a good set of golf clubs that I should get. Like name and brand, and which irons and drivers and woods I should get. Also, I need to buy a glove, and which do I wear it on? Thanks

  1. nike clubs. where a glove on your left hand if you are right handed or golf like a right handed person would, right hand if left handed

  2. not sure whats your handicap like but since you mentioned about glove and which do you wear it on.... i can roughly figure out that you are a high handicapper.

For high handicapper, go for irons with thick sole. They are more forgiving as there are more bounce on such irons.  YOu can try brand names like Taylormade (r7 series), Callaway (X series) or even Nickent irons.

For driver, I'd recommend Callaway X, Taylormade Burner (2007 model) & Cobra L4V

Fairway wood....for now I'd recommend that you drop the fairway wood and get yourself a Hybrid instead. They are much more easier to handle and give you distance that almost matching that of a fairway wood. A good brand is Cobra Baffler.

And finally glove.....wear it on your left hand if you are a right hander. vice versa if you are a lefty............

  3. Go to a Golf Store i work at Golf Galaxy and see many people in your situatuion Adams has a Great Set called Adams Tightlies complete set. it has everything you need to go and play for 399.99 or adams undercuts for 199.99 awesome deal! but you need to get the putter bad and woods. Adams is now one of the tope brands. Drivers i would look at last years models they are great deals Especially the Nike sumo 2, Cobra LD Speeds and Hi bore XL!

  4. The glove goes on the opposite hand you write with.  As far as drivers, try Ping G10 Draw, Nike Sasquatch Sumo Squared, or the Cobra L4V.  Irons, try Cobra S9 which Golf Magazine rated best for accuracy, Mizuno MX950, and the TaylorMade r7 CGB Max which was rated best for feel.  For fairway woods, try Tour Edge Exotics XCG which was rated best for distance or the Ping G10 which was rated best for hitting from the fairway.
