  1. Biodiesel

    Electricity (includes solar generated)

    Ethanol

    Hydrogen

    Methanol

    Natural Gas

    Propane

    Biobutanol

    Biogas

    Biomass to Liquids (BTL)

    Coal to Liquids (CTL)

    Fischer-Tropsch Diesel

    Gas to Liquids (GTL)

    Hydrogenation-Derived Renewable Diesel (HDRD)

    P-Series

    Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel

  2. water,light,hydregen,gasoline,heat...

  3. i did read that you can power a car on water.

    sun light

loads more but the government don’t like people to use other fuels, they like to tax people.

  4. I know they can tranfer regular old used grease and its free if you ask restaurants and fast food places for it they will happily give it to you all you have to do is switch your gas tank that can accomidate it

  5. I don't know all of them, but natural gas (methane) is a good one. I have 2 vehicles that run on that right now - a 2000 Ford F-150 pickup truck and a 1999 Ford Crown Victoria. Natural gas costs only 64 CENTS per gallon here in Utah, so I'm loving it! I like these because they run cleaner than gasoline-powered cars plus they actually exist and aren't just a dream or a wish. It would be geat if everyone had one so we wouldn't have to deal with the Middle East anymore for oil.

  6. solar

    electric

    hydrogen

    supposedly water

    supposedly cooking oil

    supposedly Coca Cola

  7. In addition to the others reported, don't forget India and France is producing cars that run on compressed air.

Suppose to hit the US market in two years.  I understand they run 120 miles per hour and will go about 200kilometres before recharging the tanks with an air compressor.  I am trying to get answers on water to hydrogen add-ons for cars, right now. http://www.lowcostsolution.net/videos.ht...

  8. the alternative fuels for cars are similar to the alternative sources of energy you might see elsewhere.

Oil - Electric hybrid...is probably your best bet right now.

However, many believe that the world oil supply is quickly depleting, and if that is the case (as it most likely is) then new options are going to have to be made available quickly.

As Technology increases, expect to see better electrics. By better, I mean better prices, better availability, better performance, better mpg, etc... These cars (at least currently) require gasoline, but get much better gas mileage because an electric battery does some of the work.

Biofuels are a trendy option, but they're not without a downside.  Biofuel is simply the burning of organic matter as fuel.  Burning wood is an example.  In terms of car fuel, Corn ethanol is the common fuel of choice.  Depending on where you live, you might run across filling station that offer this fuel.  The major drawback to biofuels is that they require massive amounts of organic material to be burnt.  I'm not an expert,  but I highly doubt that biofuels will ever be a viable option for wide-spread use.  Essentially, the reason is that there isn't enough room to grow all the corn (or whatever) that would be needed to supply everyone with fuel.  The planet is already running low on suitable farm land, and we need that to grow food, not fuel. So, unfortunately, the solution is stopgap at best.

Diesel fuel is an option.  Right now it's more expensive than unleaded, but you'll get much better gas mileage, as well as better overall performance.  I'm not sure, but i've also heard burning deisel is better for the environment.

Currently, most of the worlds known oil reserves are in the middle east.  There's some oil, but not much in Alaska and the arctics.  Coal, on the other hand, is much more abundent, worldwide as well as in the united States.  Expect to see Coal powered cars (via liquid coal).

Most people agree that the fuel of the future is going to be hydrogen fuel.  For one, its abundant (the most abundant element there is).  Secondly, it burns clean, the only byproduct is Water!  Currently, there are some good Hydrogen engines that exist.  The problem is, despite its abundance, we still haven't figured out how to Isolate large quantities of Hydrogen.

Human power...ride a bike, or walk.  Whenever I can, this is what I do.

  9. ethanol    gasohol  biodiesel   hidrogas   naturalgas

  10. sun light brand is good
