  3. Buildings and houses are made of wood,brick,block steel and concrete.Wood houses can be a mordern framed house(most common) or a timber frame and we still build some log houses.

If you are talking about construction materials, they vary from the east coast to the west coast.  The east usually make their exterior walls from brick, and the buildings are usually steel girders and cement.  The prairies build their buildings the same way but the houses are usually wooden framed with vinyl or aluminium siding.  In the west 90% of the houses are built of wooden frame construction with vinyl siding over plywood sheeting or pressed board sheeting.  They are also using a new product called hardi-plank which is a combination of cement and sawdust.  Very strong and weatherproof.
