  1. Well, then it's  GAD (generalized anxiety disorder), which is when a person excessively worries about events for long periods of time.

OCD is obsessive compulsive disorder, which is when you have the tendency to repeat needless acts for emotional satisfaction, such as washing your hands numerous times till it feels right. Another sign of OCD, is the need for everything to be in perfect order and/or the need to clean objects.

Goggle mental disorders. It's not hard.

  2. I found a site that seems pretty informative if you'd like to check it out. Give a bit of time to load - it's slow. I hope this helps.

    http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/mental-...

  3. Google it darling. You can do it.I believe in you.

  4. OCD Is Obsessive Composive  Disorders.

Umm... learnt it in Psych last year but let me try to remember...

Like the person who has OCD is like obsess with doing things over and over again. Like for example when they have a shower, they have to do everything in order one by one or else they will start everything over again.

Or a person washes their hands like 100 times a day.

I can't remember the definition but I only remember the examples... doesn't really help but yeh....

  5. The website nami.org has been a great resource for me.  Maybe, it will answer your questions.

  6. Type in to google the following.

DSM IV. It is the psychiatrists "bible" and has every known mental illness and personality disorder known

  7. There's a wonderful book called the DSM - "Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders". This book lists EVERY Mental Disorder to date, at least - those that ARE considered disorders.

The latest version is the DSM IV - I recommend this book.

Now, although Wikipedia is a crappy source, there IS a list of disorders on there on this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classificat...

    Also here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_men...

A more realiable source is this one here: http://www.mental-health-matters.com/dis...

Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, Schizophrenia etc... you name it! It's all there. Complete with hyperlinks to click on!
