What are amateur football / fussball / soccer leagues in Berlin?

Question

Hi I will move to Berlin and I was wondering if you could tell me of amateur fussball leagues in the city. So I could join a team and play for fun but at more or less organized and competitive level.

Okay, first of all: I live in Berlin (I have for 14 years now, since I have been born) and I can tell you, you have made the right decision!! Berlin is the most awesome city on this planet and it is great you're moving here.

Okay, there's two teams I know of in Fußball (it's ß, not ss, but it's basically the same, just a different letter for the same thing) in Berlin:

*Hertha BSC Berlin - the Profi team of Berlin (which sucks) but still, I don't guess you could play there, only famous players play there, which have been bought for like 2 mio. €. It's like Chelsea, like not a Club you can join.

*1. FC Union, I think they have amateur teams but they're basically a second Hertha, only much worse.

*1. FC Neukölln - that's just one of these many tiny Fußball teams which are amateur (only) and which you can join but I've only heard of kids and teens playing in them, never adults. Anyway, you could play in one of these, I dare say every district has at least 2 so you can easily find one.
