What are average summer Friday hours?

At our company our Friday summer hours are 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, which is a new benefit this year. Because we work near tourist attractions this is supposed to help relieve traffic congestion and be environmentally friendly.

Usually if you get your 40 hours in that week, it doesn't matter. Work more mon-thur and leave early friday.

It depends on the company you work for. Some companies change their hours during the summer and others don't. Some will let you work four ten-hour days and have one weekday off. I would suggest you check with management and ask if a variable work week is permitted.

We don't have any different hours for Fridays whether it's summer or not. 8am-5pm..

I am ditching out early today to go camping....but I'm the boss so I can do what I want while all the little people stay here and work!
