What are background checks?

when they do a background check, do they check your age?

i applied at this job

and i want to know if their going to check my age

and other stuff

can someone tell me what excatly do they check

Background checks really depend on which company services they use.  They can check your age, alias names, if you have any criminal records, warrants against you, and credit history.  You should be able to request after their background check a copy of their report.

i dont think that they actually check your age but they check by your social security number so if you lied about your age then they will find out.  what they are actually checking is your criminal background to see what kind of violations you have in your history and if you were honest about it.
