Can I substitute canadian bacon if I can't find it?

  1. A rasher of bacon is just another way of saying a strip of bacon.  Canadian bacon will have more meat and less fat and could improve or disprove your recipe!


  2. I think a rasher means a slice of bacon.

  4. A rasher of bacon is one strip of bacon.  So, rashers of bacon would be multiple strips of bacon.  I dont think I would substitute canadian bacon for real bacon, but, I guess it would depend on the recipie.
