  1. Well, a blackout is when the game isn't broadcasted on TV because the bleachers aren't filled up, and they are only willing to broadcast the game if the stadium is filled.

It depends where you live in order to find out what channel and what time it'll be on, and what team you want to watch. You should check your local newspaper for times, and probably your teams website. But at best, you should check your local listings for more precise details

    Hope I helped. -A.X.

  2. It is where a baseball game doesn't sell enough seats, so they don't show the game on television. Its a really stupid idea if you ask me tho.

  3. I feel you i have Directv and i'm a Phillies fan,but can't get the games because Comcast is a bunch of losers and wants you to have their service to watch the games...I wish they would do away with blackouts.

  4. A blackout in sports typically refers to when a team doesn't sell out all the seats at their stadium so they "punish" the local fans by not airing the game on local TV.

It is usually on at 7 pm or 1 pm. I would try FSN or ESPN. ESPN has games on Sunday, Sometimes monday  tuesday etc.

  6. A blackout prevents people in the local area from watching the game on TV. Team management (owners) fear that local fans won't attend in person, thus reducing the take at the gate.
