  1. no CO2 in the reaction it produces water as an end product

  2. I don't know go online and look it up.

  3. Hydrogen is a good fuel as each molecule will produce two electrons to be used to do work at a relatively good fuel-output ratio.  The only product of hydrogen itself is water, also, making it a clean medium.

Unfortunately, as it stands, hydrogen is not an energy source in itself, and must rely on processes that take up energy from a primary source, such as electrolysis or production from fossil fuels.  In the future, however, we may be able to produce hydrogen without the use of fossil fuels or nuclear reactions to produce the primary energy, such as by collecting it from termites or algae, making it a good bio-fuel.

  4. IC engines are around 19% efficient.   Fuel cells are closer to 50%.   They both can run on different hydrocarbon fuels if designed to, so each would emmit the same amount of carbon dioxide, but the fuel cell would make much more energy available in a usefull form per unit of fuel used.

  5. They produce a lot of electricity, and the only waste product is water.  Unfortunately, hydrogen is expensive, difficult to transport, and difficult to store; for these reasons, it is not well suited for vehicle propulsion.

  6. the benefits of hydrogen fuel cells are very dramatic as you will be getting enough energy and the waste is just drinkable water, it does not pollute the environment.  Presently a lot of energy comapnies has been having a strategic planning on tapping the hydrogen fuel cells, some western european countries are now manufacturing cars that uses hydrogen fuel cell, these fuel cells contain a catalyst that facilitates the reaction of 2 atoms of Hydrogen with 1 atom of Oxygen, creating a clean and harmless waste we call water, during the reaction as hydrogen and oxygen combine, it  releases energy, and that energy is tapped by the machine, juast take for example Space rockets, it uses liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen, whenver these two elements combine, it only produces water vapor and it releases a large amount of energy which is THRUST, and that is what pushes the rocket upwards. Again, i'd like to stress out the benefits on Hydrogen fuel cells, its basically a clean and non-harming devuce for the environment, although there are still some setbacks because few countries are able to have them...hope this helps, ask me more question, im willing to answer since I am a science teacher...

  7. what! idk!
