What are best institutions in U.S.A to study Product design after an Engineering degree?

I am in final year of B.Tech in Production engineering at NIT, Calicut, India. I wish to pursue Product Designing course at U.S. What are best Institutions and what are my chances of getting an admission?

If you can afford it, I would definitely recommend MIT in Boston, possibly even the master's programme if you can get in.

Other places I could recommend would be RISD (Providence) and Cooper Union (New York).
