What are best magazines for smart, bilingual 7 year old girls?

she is learning spanish in school. i really dont like the kids magazines with all the toy adds, etc. her older sister (10 y.o. & also bilingual) gets discovery girls, highlights and mathmania currently. they love getting magazines in the mail but also have tons of books already. i just orderd "spider" magazine for the 7 y.o. but was looking for something to add.

I agree with Laska; books are the best way to go!

If you really must have magazines, the only magazine I know for 7 year old girls is American Girl.
