  1. I have been on 4 cruises and the best ones are the carnival cruises as the entertainment is great and the british people are more inclined to take part as when cruising on the american cruise ships the americans dont seem to be as wild as we are.

    hope you enjoy your cruise

  2. I went on a carnival cruise and I hated it. It was so boring. Laying by the pool and drinking gets old fast, I like to have fun. They had no activities besides bingo and port shopping classes. The nightclub was always empty. The food was always cold, and seemed to be leftovers from the previous day. We had problems with our room and it was difficult getting help. The only thing I liked was when we weren't on the ship. Since then I have cruised with royal caribbean and the experience has been wonderful, the complete opposite.

  3. They are really great. There is lots to do, or nothing.  Depends on what you want.  And the value is the best there is.  The other cruise lines cost at least 200 dollars for the same trips when I have booked.  Despite what some people will say (who have never been on Carnival), the food and service were awesome.  We have always gotten a personal touch that we do not get anywhere in the US.

  4. I went on one for my honeymoon.....it was awesome. all the sunbathing you can handle (bring sunscreen....we didn't...haha), 24-hour pizza (free pizza, I might add) comedy shows, fine dining, and shoping wihtout taxes...yay. Plus gambling! And a piano bar that had high tea!

And they fold your towels into little animals and leave them on your bed!

I want to go on a cruise, now.

  5. A typical Carnival cruise is full of non-stop activities.  My last Carnival cruise was April 2006 (I have two more booked later this year).  Here is my review from my cruise on the Carnival Glory in April 2006 ...

  6. i went on one when i was young with my family i liked it it was very family friendly, but also it depends on the boat you go on its not really about what line u go on but what boat on the line you go on pick a newer bigger ship even if it is more exspensive you will really enjoy it.

  7. In my opinion, Carnival is the best cruise line. I've been on nine cruises with Carnival.

There are activities going on all day. The activities are so varied, you'll probably find something for you to do! There are contests like survivor, belly flop competitions, scavenger hunts, etc. Then there's trivia, bingo, game shows, karaoke, etc. In addition, whenever you win anything, you gain points for you team. Basically, the ship is divided into three teams: red, white, and blue. If you win, you let them know what team you're on. The winners also usually get a coveted "ship on a stick" trophies.

The food is also great on Carnival. Most ships have a deli, 24-hour pizza station, chinese station, and a couple more buffet options. Then there is the dining room. Some ships also have supper clubs, which serve food made-to-order using finer ingredients  than in the dining room. There is a $30/person charge for the supper club. There is usually live piano music, and a limited number of guests, so the environment is much more intimate.

Everyday you'll get the newsletter, the Carnival Capers, which explains everything above, and provides a rip-out list of the day's activities.

There's a whole lot more to know! The best way to learn it all is to just go on a cruise and experience it for yourself.

  8. we have done 12 cruises now and we went on an all inclusive land based holiday 7 years ago for a change  never again the trouble is with cruises you get so much more than just a holiday as you see so much more without the bother of driving  what with first class dining fantastic shows films swimming pools all included in the price that you pay and on some cruises that includes your drinks .

so much to do and see and if you just want to chill out that's OK as you are free to do as much or as little as you wish to do.

as for exercise theres usually at least one gym on board and spa,s as i have said we will take a lot of persuading to go on another land based holiday once bitten by the cruising bug  you will find that other holiday,s are just so ordinary in comparison and Moe expensive as well

  9. I have been on Three carnival cruises and i love Them i am 46  and not a drinker and they have things for people of all ages

in my opinion there is so many things to do you cant keep up with all the activities .

and as far as the age thing i just sent my in laws on their 50 th anniversary on  carnival  and they had a blast and they are in their late 70 s

    Robin

  10. i have been on two!

    i LOVED them!

we are planning our next cruise soon, wouldnt go on any other ship but carnival. most reasonable price, and have stuff to do for ALL ages. best ship line out there for sure.

  11. If you are looking for a deal on carnival ...check out http://www.ticketsavvy.com and you will save some bucks!!  have fun!

  12. Have been on a number of different cruise lines - Carnival is designed for the younger traveller - they are good fun and fairly laid back.

It depends on your age and what you are expecting - if you are older or wanting a quieter cruise then one of the other cruise lines may be more appropriate

  13. They are awesome! There are a lot of activities to do and get involved in. The people are nice, corteous, andvery helpful. The food was amazing. And it's just a lot of fun.
