  1. 100%.  EVERYBODY deploys at least once in their first term of enlistment.  EVERYBODY.

  2. AF Security forces deploy constantly.  Home for 12 and then gone for 6.

  3. Tons of MP units deploy. You could be doing convoy security. And then in downtime you will harass guys like me and issue my soldiers tickets for speeding on the FOB

  4. If you join the Army you are going to deploy unless you get assigned to a TRADOC.  Also, your chance at deployment depends on the new President, we don't know, but as of now, if you join your coming over.

  5. It all depends on what unit you are assigned to.

If your first unit just got back from a deployment, then you won't deploy , until they deploy again in a year.

But then, you might get assigned to a unit, that deploys 6 weeks after you get assigned to it.

  6. It really depends on the unit you are assigned to and where they are in the rotation cycle - you may deploy next year and you may not.  At some point in your enlistment you will deploy.
