On Saturday AM the u/s showed a follicle of over 19 mm and I was given the Ovidrel shot and told to come back the following morning for my first IUI. By the following morning (Sunday) the u/s showed that the follicle had already collapsed and I had ovulated but the IUI was done anyway because the egg may have still been viable. Most things I've read say that ovulation takes place 24-36 hours after the hcg injection. I seemed to have responded to it much sooner than that ....so my question is, is there still a good chance of pregnancy or was the IUI probably too late?
