What are chances of white sox getting to series? can they even win division?

tigers are 28-13 in last 41 and are not out and neither are twins! who can catch white sox! and for chicago fans:: in my opinion, WHITE SOX AND CUBS!!! WILL CHOKE!! HA! HA!and if chicago fans don't like comments, then show guts and respond to me, and allow me to e-mail you too!

well, you start by asking a fairly legitimate question (sox getting to the WS) --they have a shot--and your second question (win the division) is fair, too--yes, they can. But then you go and open your mouth real wide and stick your foot in it by demeaning the entire city of chicage, cubs and white sox fans in particular. This tends to make people like me--neither a cubs fan nor a sox fan--think you are just another loud mouth punk who probably roots for the washington nationals. And I wouldn't be too cocky about getting emails, unless you like to read hate mail.

The White Sox will win the division with Superior pitching. The tigers have played well lately, but the Sox will win this weekends series and pretty much knock the tigers out of the race. The White Sox will win the WS as well. I agree that the cubs will choke.

The White Sox should probably be trading for a starting pitcher because when Contreras comes off the DL,he should go straight to Social Security.Seriously,they could use a starting pitcher,but I think they have enough to win their division.Beating either the Angels or Red Sox is another story.They stand a better chance against the Rays,but will they be there at the end?

The Cubs are another story and I'll leave it at this will be the 100th year they don't win a World Series.

If the Sox can keep their offense going, they'll win the division. They have too good of a pitching staff!

well im a sox fan and realistically think we can make it....the twins dont have the pieces to be a strong stretch team, i dont think their young players (especially pitching) can keep up their level of play...and I think the tigers pitching sucks and their offense can't carry them past us.  We have the best bullpen in baseball (especially now that Jenks is back) with the lowest ERA and highest K's per 9 innings. our starting staff is good but not great, especially if buehrle has his sh*t together, and i while i dont like that we live and die by the longball on offense, we are pretty explosive....but i do hope the Cubs choke!...and anyone can email me. im not shy about a debate.

Tigers are turning it on, but the White Sox have pitching and hitting. They won the World Series 2 years ago and they have experience in a division race. I think the Tigers are getting better and finally performing like everyone thought they would, but they might ahve given the White Sox too big a lead.

I think the White Sox with the division adn the Tigers fight the Yanks for the wild card (Rays die down and don't make the playoffs).
