This is the best thing I ever read on leadership in such a short paragraphs. I am not sure if I read a point where it says, as a leader always listen attentively  to what others say. A good leader is a good listener.

These may be on the site, but I didn't click on it.  My ideas on leadership are:

1) Lead by example

2) Never tell someone to do something you wouldn't do yourself

3) Always take a little more than your share of the blame and a little less than your share of the credit.

4) Remember that every member of your team can contribute something beneficial.

5) Never assume you know it all, and never stop learning

6) You owe it to your subordinates to make them toe the line even if they don't like it.

7) A manager tells you how to do something, a leader shows you how to do something.

8) The why is just as important as the what.
