What are common causes for tooth ache?

i'm scared i might have a cavity, because my upper back molar has been hurting today.

dont eat too much sugar food.And also you may have a cavity.Brush your teeth morning and night.Dont rush when brush teeth.And dont brush too hard it can broke your teeth!

To much sugar is probably it. It may go away after time. Thats wut happened to me.

You may have a cavity, but if you have something REALLY sweet you may have a Sweet Tooth.

The common causes are, a possible abcess, a high bite, or a cavity that has gone into the nerve which then leads to having a root canal.

May be a cavity, especially on molars that are hard to reach. You can get them even if you brush, depends totally on the enamel on your teeth and how strong it is (sometimes can have weak spots in the enamel that no matter how much you brush you can get a cavity)

Could also be an injury to the gum near the tooth that makes it feel like tooth pain.

If it doesn't go away soon, then go see the dentist. Much easier to fix a small cavity that a big one!
