  1. Which BIG Asian powers you talked about? the UK has nothing in common with Asia's #1 power China, very few with #2 Japan. Even with #3 India, the UK does not has much in common interest, beside the fact that Britain's former colony had adopted some of her governing and social law,but the two have more differences. The UK is a long dead western Imperial power, but still very right-wing leaning(with America),India is the champion of developing third world, very strong anti-imperialism. India's economy now is booming and is respected all over the world. Politicaly,India has troubles with Pakistan and extremist Sikhs/Muslim. India has long been under shadowed, and somehow Bullying by stronger China, therefore,India may need helps from The US to match China but not being used as a card to counter her most important neighbour.

  2. $

  3. Cricket!!!!

  4. uhh.. i don't know if its the same with the US/canada, but increased imports in 20 years due to their minimal labor costs in china, more competition for jobs in uk because of outsourcing etc.
