Question:

What are common interview mistakes?

I know there must be something very very wrong with the way I behave at an interview, because I've had 5 interviews in the past month but haven't been hired. Obviously I have the qualifications, so it must be me personally that puts people off. I do get a little nervous, and sometimes I have to stop and think about answers (even though I prepare beforehand.) What are the worst interview offenses and how do I avoid them?

  1. Don't wear too much jewlery. 1 ring may be a necklace and no hoop earings. Dress to impress nothing short. Give your attire a twist don't do the normal black and white but don't pick loud colors. I would say a dark brown or chocolate color out fit with a white shirt. Always have a resume with you even if you have mailed it in. have a nice portfolio with paper and a pin. Ask questions and please research the company. Talk about things that stand out in the company like chartiable events or things that the company has accomplished ect.
