What are common street prices of perscription drugs?

I work at a local pharmacy and we have alot of people that are abusing there perscription drugs, what do they get out of it? It creates alot of problems for themselves, what are the street prices of these drugs, is it really worth risking everything???

  1. It's not worth it to risk selling PD's unless you like going to prison for drug possession with intent to distribute/sell.


  2. I can get a whole months supply of generic valium from the pharmacy for less than $20.  People try to buy them from me for like $4 per pill.  I might need money sometimes, but I need the pills more, so I don't do it, but I can understand why some other people do.

    When my step brother had surgery and had oxycodine (sp?) for pain people were trying to buy them from him for about $3 per pill, and his whole bottle only cost $15.  He really needed them too, so didn't sell.

    I think some people trade their prescription drugs in for crack and other street drugs.

  3. It depends on your location. Aderal will bring five dollars a pill on colleges but maybe a dollar at high schools. It also depends on who's selling. A person with connections and knows his way around can bring anywhere between one dollar and seventy dollars.
