  1. At first when I got my contacts, it was weird and actually quite annoying. Then after about 3 days I couldn't even tell I had them in! i am in volleyball too so they are nice for that. Just don't get anything in them, like water, that hurts!

  2. If they are in correctly and are undamaged, you won't even notice they are there so it won't hurt at all and you get use to them after awhile. However, if they have not been put in properly (in-side-out for example) or the lenses are split or damaged in any way, they will irritate your eyes.

I found some quick tips on taking care of them:

-Always wash and rinse your hands thoroughly before you handle your lenses.

-To avoid getting your lenses mixed up, always apply (or remove) your lenses, one at a time, in the same order.

-Never use eye drops or solutions that aren’t specifically for contact lenses.

-Don’t use saliva to try and wet or clean your lenses.

-Don’t sleep in your lenses (unless you wear lenses that are specifically designed for continuous wear and your eye care professional has prescribed them for that wear schedule).

-Clean, rinse and disinfect your lenses every time you remove them.

-Keep all your solution bottles tightly capped when you’re not using them.

-Don’t let the tip of solution bottles touch any surface (including your fingers, eyes or lenses).

    -Never use expired lens solutions.

    -Never re-use lens solutions.

-Never swap lenses with someone else.

-Rinse your lens case every day and let it air-dry.

-Replace your lens case every three months (or more frequently).

-Don’t let cosmetics like soap, makeup, moisturizers or sunscreen touch your lenses.

-Never wear your lenses when you’re going to be around irritating fumes or vapors (paint, hairspray, oven cleaner, etc.)

-Don’t swim or go in a hot tub while wearing your lenses.

    Enjoy your contact lenses!!

  3. I want contact lenses too, i don't wear my glsasses i have now bacause i dont like em they make me look funny. But my bf has contact lenses and he is always losing them if you play with him or he runs too fast. He also says they burn and itch sometimes

  4. well, it feels a little uncomfortable when u try it on for the first few minutes but its ok after a while. and sometimes it burns but i ignore it.

  5. Do not rub your eyes with contacts on.

Do not cry with contacts on.

Do not wear them when showering.

If your eyes go red, add few drops of solution.

Your contacts should never go behind your eye, or you need surgery to get them out.

Always store them in a case with solution.

    :)

  6. you will notice something in your eye for prolly a few hours and then you will never notice it again.

there great. just keep them clean and change them out when there suppost to you and should never fell discomfort.

  7. wash your hands really well, and dry with paper towels--u dont want any fibers or particles in ur hands or u will feel it when u pu them on. if there is even the tiniest of things on the contact lens u will always know. It will feel like a rock next to our eye, but with proper measures and the right tools( the liquid solution)  u will be able to solve the problem.

To answer your question-contacts-depending on what  brand you get-they feel like nothing. i wear the new acuvue oasis. and they are by far the best stuff i have ever attached to my eye balls. They allow 5 times more oxyen than the acuvue 2's. in fact they are that much better than my former lenses that i can even sleep with them on. something u are not allowed to do- or else they would get stuck to your eyes-or risk an eye infection. but the annoying part is the rinsing and rubbing of he lens when i got to take them off. it only takes like five minutes but i amjust lazy.

  8. They feel like you have something on your eyes, but you get use to them after a couple of times.

  9. when you first get contacts, putting them on is he**, like poking your eyes for 45 minutes till its bloddy red. anyway, there is really nothing you can do to prepare for it but maybe wet your finger and lightly poke your eye a few times just to make it a little easier tommorow. they are worth it but i am warning you to prepare for the worst

  10. I have heard so many different opinions on contacts.  Some people love them and others hate them.

Personally I think they are ok.  At certain times they are annoying especially if you have allergies and your eyes are itchy to begin with.  They get dried out if you have your a/c blasting in the car so make sure it is not blasting on your face because that can be painful.  Also always keep them in solution and closed in the case when they are not being warn so they are always moist and clean.  If you rip them, throw them out because that can be extremelypainful. And do not sleep with them.  Even if it ddoesn'thurt at first it is really bad for your eyes and eventually it hurts really bad.  They are not that bad though if you use them with good hygiene.  Good Luck!

  11. If you're getting soft contacts, you won't even feel them on your eye once you get used to them, which for most people takes 2 days max.

Biggest tip, and this is very important - follow the directions for care provided by your optician to the letter. This way you're very likely not to have any complications whatsoever.
