  1. They are snow storms that move in from the west coast that  to the east coast then they are fallowed by other storms.


  2. Converging fronts are fronts that go towards each other. They;re usually cold and warm fronts. This is common in the Great Plains in the U.S.A. because warm moist air comes from the Gulf of Mexico and Cold dry air comes from Central Canada. So this causes tornadoes. That's why tornadoes in the Great Plains are common.
