Will be off a ship between hours of 8 am and 5 PM. Food should not be factored into the $25.

  1. There are lots of attractions in downtown Charlottetown and as well, many on the waterfront itself!

You can request an activity guide here:

    and browse activities here:

and check out the cool things to do for yourself!

Cow's ice cream at Peake's Wharf is not-to-be missed in addition to the double-decker bus tours! Peake's Wharf Harbour Tours from Quartermaster Marina are very popular, and can this Captain EVER maneuver the boat!

(EDIT)- The drink Ashlee is referring to is called Strawberry Cordial. As Anne of Green Gables says... "I just love bright red drinks"

Don't forget your camera and an extra SD card (or two).

Have a great time on the Island!

  2. Alright,so no food..

    let me see

    - PEI dirt shirts (regular clothing with a island touch, the shirt is stained with PEI dirt and give off a brownish orange colour, very cool can't get them anywhere else!)

    - They're are plenty of gift shops around Charlottetown! and all around PEI for that matter,so take a look in every one you come across, you'll be amazed at all the cute little trinkets you can find

    - I know you said not food realted, but when you go to PEI you must try their drink they are known for they are called a something coral they are pinkish redish colour and taste very good,it's dedicated to Anne of Greengables

    - While your at it,Take a look at the Anne of Greengables novels, quite an intriguing series, lot's of things are dedicated to this serries of books and it would be interesting to see what the whole rage is about!

I can't really think of anything else but have a great time in Charlottetown! It's a beautiful place, and make sure you don't spend all your time shopping .. enjoy the beautiful scenery

    - Ashlee

  3. You might check out if the cost of renting a bike. The Island has great biking trails. They are the converted former railway tracks. McQueen's is one Charlottetown company, but there may be others. I suspect this will take up all of your $25.

8 am is a bit early for anything to get started on the Island. Later in the day I'd consider hanging out on Victoria Row. There are a bunch of outdoor cafes and restaurants. I know food isn't part of your scene, but you could order a drink and people watch.

The Confederation Centre art gallery sometimes puts on edgy exhibitions. That would be a couple of bucks. There are some galleries and fun gift shops to poke around in on Victoria Row and George (or St. George's) Street - it runs from the harbour to Province House. The Confederation Players do some sort of free outdoor show, giving a quick history of how Canadian confederation happened.

Otherwise, I'd go to the beach, except that there aren't any beaches right in Charlottetown. You could cycle to one, if you had a bike...

You could visit Founders Hall by where the cruise ships land. Visit Province House to learn how Canada was founded - just three blocks from the harbour, then walk over to the Confederation Centre of the Arts. The Confed Centre and their second stage may have matinees of their plays. I don't know what's on this year, but you should be able to get in for around $20.

Victoria Park - about 10 blocks from where the ships land - is a place to sun yourself or stroll along the boardwalk.

PEI is a pretty passive place. In summer it's big on things like hanging at the beach (they have 48), cycling, golf (they have 32 courses), eating and decompressing.
