When I visited my friend there and the short time I worked at the QE Hotel there were several French and Belguim style creperies, we went to one on St Denis near Sherbrooke, the classic crepe parisienes, it is a plain crepe filling with a creamed chicken, mushroom and asparagas filling

Those Western European style pancakes can be sweet too, not just filled with chicken, mushrooms, asparagus, etc.
